Meet our SOS Trainers:
|
Willie Owens graduated from Penn State with majors in Exercise Science and Chemistry. His fitness certifications include ESA, AAAI, NASM, CPR. He entered the fitness field because in his words, "It's the next best thing to being a doctor."
Willie played professional football with NJ Cardsharks Arena football, 2003; CFL Winnepeg Bluebombers, 1998; and in the NFL for the St. Louis Rams, 1997. He is also a 6-time All-American in Track & Field.

Kyle holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Sociology from Johns Hopkins University, and is currently studying to achieve an A.C.E., and AAA1 Certification. Before coming to Facts Fitness, Kyle coached Lacrosse at Widener University and led the Pride to a M.A.C. Championship. Kyle is currently an Assistant Lacrosse Coach at St. Joseph's Prep.
Kyle played professional lacrosse for the Denver Outlaws, and the Philadelphia Barrage. Kyle won an NCAA Lacrosse National Championship in 2005 with the Johns Hopkins Blue Jays, he is also a 2-time All-American.

Chris Croley is a graduate of Robert Morris University where he earned a Bachelors degree in Marketing, and a Masters degree in Instructional Leadership. His tenure at RMU included 4 years of Division I Track where he was a 4-time IC4A Qualifier and 1-time Regional Qualifier. He spent two years coaching the sprint and relay events.
Chris is originally from Memphis, Tennessee, but has lived in 4 other states. He has been a Personal Trainer for 3 years. Chris also loves to instruct and play basketball and is proud to be a member of the 1575 club! Also, he has a 40 inch vertical! Wow!

Mike Klevence has a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a Juris Doctor degree from Widener Law School. Seven years ago, Mike made a total career change from practicing law to becoming a personal trainer. The reason in Mike’s own words, “Do what you love to do and I love fitness!” Mike’s certifications include CSCS, ACE Personal Trainer, USAT&F Level 1 Coach and CPR. He enjoys reading listening to music and travel.

Bryan is a graduate of the University of Arizona and is pursuing a
career in Golf Course Construction and Design, with two championship
courses on his resume. He currently is the co-designer and
supervisor of a specialized golf trainer program. Bryan is a 70’s
golfer and was a member of the Inter-AC Champion Episcopal Academy
golf team.
Bryan is also a member of the Motivation Fitness personal training
team and S.O.S. (Sport-specific Off-Season Training) staff.

S.O.S
is an athletic training and sports training program designed specifically for sports to aggressively develop speed, explosiveness, agility, strength,
power, coordination and endurance.
In this day and age of competitive sports, gaining and keeping the competitive edge is about becoming bigger, stronger and
faster! FACTS Fitness offers S.O.S.
to the athlete trying to take his or her performance to the next level. With hard work, determination and commitment,
an athlete can raise his or her performance to the next level and beyond.
S.O.S. can answer the call for help.
S.O.S. is a sport-specific athletic training and sports training program for athletes of any age and fitness
level. For each athlete or group of athletes, our world class team of fitness trainers
designs a dynamic series of athletic training and sports training sessions aimed at maximizing the
participants' athleticism. This is accomplished through
core strengthening, Olympic-style power lifting, plyometric training,
and aerobic and anaerobic conditioning. The result is an
athlete with better endurance, balance, explosiveness, power, and
core strength, which is instrumental in minimizing the risk of sports injuries.
Upon completing the
S.O.S. program, one can expect to see an improvements in vertical jump,
40 yard dash time, and bench press and squat abilities,
not to mention improved agility, flexibility, first step quickness,
reaction time, and hand-eye coordination, Creativity and
functionality are key elements of the S.O.S. program.
Our world class team of fitness trainers will
carefully construct a series of neuromuscular reactive training
techniques combined with isotonic, isometric, and isokinetic movements,
utilizing agility ladders, hurdles, and bosu balance trainers.
Who we serve:
- Individuals looking to improve personal performance
- Small Groups of Team Athletes
- Travel Sports Teams
- Scholastic Sports Teams
S.O.S. will enhance the athletes performance in any sport. The athletic training and sports training program will
include but not be limited to the following:
- 60-minute sessions led by a certified and degreed trainer with a group of athletes.
- Program designed to improve body awareness, speed, footwork, coordination, agility,
flexibility, strength, and
balance
- Consultation and instruction with coaches and/or physical education department
- Explanation of proper and efficient training aimed at improving an athlete's performance, and minimizing risk of injury

Sessions will vary by group (based on the demands of the specific sport), but all sessions will involve the following:
- Plyometrics
- Strength Training
- Cardio Training
- Pilates and Yoga
- Use of resistance bands, bosu, and agility ladders
A.S.s.E.T.
Training
During
this final phase of S.O.S. athletes
will receive specialized training
for his or her specific sport.
Through a series of dynamic,
multi-faceted drills individually
tailored to meet the demands of a
specific sport, this phase of the S.O.S. program offers each athlete
the following:
A-dvanced
S-kill-related
S-trength
E-ndurance
T-raining
Each athlete will have the
opportunity to raise his or her game
with this specialized sport-specific
training. The A.S.S.E.T. Training
phase of
S.O.S. sets our program
apart from all other athletic
training programs. "The S.O.S. program has provided athletes with state-of-the-art exercises during the off-season enabling them to be well prepared for their in-season sports. The trainers are world-class and have appropriately pushed the athletes to become faster, stronger and more confident. Coaches have spent less time with time consuming conditioning drills and more time on the technical and strategic aspects of the sports they are coaching.
